Funding Focus

Your 2025 application should focus on one of the following areas:

Predator Free 2050 & Biodiversity Stewardship

  • Ecological Impact: Projects must show measurable benefits to biodiversity—e.g., habitat restoration, endangered species protection, predator reduction.
  • Community Engagement: Involve local communities through education, volunteering, and partnerships.
  • Sustainability & Innovation: Use scalable, replicable models with innovative technologies and sustainable funding.

Tourism Sustainability Commitment (TSC)

  • Educational Impact: Projects should provide comprehensive and accessible educational tools for tourism operators. This includes workshops, online courses, and resource materials that clearly explain the principles of the TSC and how they can be implemented in daily operations. The goal is to ensure that all participants have a thorough understanding of sustainability practices and their importance.
  • Business Capability Building: Projects should focus on enhancing the business capabilities of tourism operators. This can involve training in areas such as sustainable business practices, financial management, marketing, and customer service. The aim is to empower operators with the skills and knowledge needed to run their businesses sustainably and profitably.

Climate Change Adaptation

Projects should help communities become resilient and prepared for future environmental challenges.
