TINZT has funding for tourism-related projects and initiatives large and small that meet one or more of our aims.
- Increase the knowledge of people working in New Zealand’s tourism industry
- Educate New Zealanders about our tourism industry
- Encourage and promote a tourism industry based on the sustainable use and preservation of New Zealand’s natural assets
Academic Scholarships
Tourism academic scholarship applications are offered to young New Zealanders about to commence their final year of tertiary study in a tourism course. The two scholarships are split between one applicant completing level 4-6 qualifications and one completing level 7 and above.
